<link>https://repository.kcau.ac.ke/handle/123456789/1282</link>
<description>Child Rearing And Modernity Among The Igbo Of Southeast Nigeria
Okoye, Obiageli C
Child rearing which involves nurturing and training a child from childhood to adulthood is pivotal among the Igbo people of Southeast Nigeria because children ensure their continuity. Modernity and the resultant technological innovations have immensely affected child rearing. Using qualitative method, this study seeks to examine the concept of child rearing among the Igbo people of Southeast Nigeria, the extent it was effected by modernity and make recommendation on best child rearing method to adopt. Modernization theory is used as an explanatory framework for this study. It was established that child rearing entails feeding, nurturing, teaching and correcting children to become responsible adults. Child rearing was a communal affair in the traditional Igbo societies. Modernity resulted in most parents living as nuclear families and became solely responsible for child rearing. Socialization with people from other cultures and the modern means of communication have affected children’s behavior and the child rearing style adopted by parents. The study, therefore recommends that parents should consider the personality of their children and their environment before copying child rearing style from other cultures.

In construction and building projects quality management is a major factor to be considered for the accomplishment of project success. To understand the degree to which quality management contributes to project success, this study was conducted to evaluate the relationships between project quality management and project success.A survey research design was adopted for the study. The data was collected using structured questionnaire.Proportional stratification, random and purposive sampling techniques were used to select the sample size of 57 and 246 for finite and infinite population of project managers and clients of construction firms registered with Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry.Content validity was used to validate the questionnaire, while Cronbach’s Alpha was used to determine the reliability atα=(0.88). Regression analysis was used for the data analysis. The findings revealed that there were significant relationships between project quality management and client’s satisfaction(R=0.508;p&lt;0.05),(R2=0.258). Conclusively, the findings of this study further revealed that an organization with effective project quality management strategies would more likely fulfill the needs of clients, which could ultimately lead to client’s satisfaction.

<title>The Relations Between Telephony Money Transactions And Inflation Determination</title>
<link>https://repository.kcau.ac.ke/handle/123456789/1279</link>
<description>The Relations Between Telephony Money Transactions And Inflation Determination
Misorimaligayo, Beatrice; Simiyu, Christine N
The purpose of the paper was to examine the relationship between telephony money transactions and inflation in Kenya in the period 2007 to 2017 firstly, due to the fears allayed that the advent of mobile money transactions could be increasing inflation, and secondly, to determine the existence of causality between telephony money transactions and inflation. The ARDL Bounds test of co-integration is employed and the findings reveal that there is insignificant relationship between telephony money transactions and Inflation in the long run and the null hypotheses are accepted, however, the error correction terms are negative and significant showing bidirectional causality between inflation and the telephony money transactions constructs implying that there is need for continuous implementation of interdependent policy actions for effective monetary and inflation targeting.
